The Shimano 105 ST-R7020 STI shift/brake are for shifting 11 speed mechanical components and control a hydraulic disc brakes - perfect for Cyclocross or Gravel use, but also for Road use when maximum braking performance is required under difficult conditions.
Both the revised shift unit with shorter lever travel and the reduced hydraulics are convincing, because faster shifting processes and a pleasing appearance are the result. The refined ergonomics and the generous reach adjustment also speak for themselves.
The dual control lever features a redesigned internal shift unit for a slimmer, more ergonomically shaped control lever that matches the design of Ultegra R8000. Increased reach adjustment of up to 15 mm provides more control and reliable brake performance in all conditions.
