That's where our Workshop comes in!
The Bike Doctor's Workshop is based in South Morang. It provides us with the additional capability needed for complex repairs, major servicing, bike builds, restorations and specialist projects. It also acts as our 'Home-Base' where we take in Drop-Off Repairs*
*by appointment only*

Professional Bike Servicing - On-Site When Possible - Workshop When Necessary.

How does it work?

The Bike Doctor is primarily a Mobile Bicycle Mechanic. Our Mobile Workshop Van allows us to travel all over Melbourne servicing bikes and providing fast, convenient and affordable bicycle maintenance. We also have our Workshop based in South Morang. You can visit our Workshop by APPOINTMENT ONLY. Due to us being a Mobile Mechanic, The workshop can be unmanned at certain times while we are out on service calls. If you want to drop past, Give us a call!

Most Repairs and Services are able to be completed on-site at our clients location. There are certain cases where taking the bike back to our workshop to complete is preferred and/or necessary. Full Teardowns, Suspension Services and Specialty Services are recommended to be done at our workshop. Certain Suspension related services are required to be completed at our workshop due to the use of a Hydraulic Shop Press, or our Shock Vacuum Bleeder.

Important info - E-Bikes

We know how awesome E-Bikes are! But we also know how dangerous some E-Bikes can be, Especially when high powered DIY electric kits are strapped to bikes that aren't designed for it. So we've decided some rules and limits around the E-Bikes we will service and repair. See below.

If your E-Bike came from the factory as an E-Bike, We'll work on it!

If your E-Bike has a DIY Conversion Kit attached, We will only work on bikes that output 1000w or less. More than 1000w of power attached to normal bikes poses a huge safety risk.

If your bike came from the factory with over 1000w of power, (E-Moto's like Stark, Sur-Ron or Talaria) We will also work on these bikes, But due to their size, weight and added complexity when completing repairs, There is a $100 surcharge for these bikes.

ELECTRICAL ISSUES

With Electrical Issues on E-Bikes and E-Scooters. We are only trained and licenced to work on Shimano, Bosch, Yamaha, Brose and Bafang Powertrains. If your E-Bike has an un-branded Motor/Battery we are unable to provide any support or repairs. Same goes with E-Scooters running un-branded motor/batteries.
